Greetings Friends and Neighbors:
A local Hereford High student, Junior Andrew White, recently won 1st place with the best History Fair project in the state of Texas. His interpretive History Website entitled “The Devil’s Rope,” The History and Turning Points of Barbed Wire, is considered an excellent representation of the history of the Texas Panhandle, and we hope it to be judged to be one of the best projects in the entire nation. Andrew has spent hundreds of hours researching, designing and producing this project beginning last August and his work continues even as I am typing.
